TEACHERS PARENTS AND GUARDIANS PACK

This booklet is aimed at parents and guardians attending any x-ray department with a child. It will also help School Teachers in informing children about radiography. It is ONLY available through The Scottish Health Innovations Ltd (SHIL).

The booklet caters for both sexes and revolves around either Callum-for boys, or Sarah-for girls. The story is about a Callum/Sarah having an X-ray examination. It also contains a simple explanation of what X-rays are. The roles of radiographers and radiologists are also described. Some methods employed by radiographers to restrict movement of a child to obtain diagnostic images are also covered.
